O’Tuma cacao comes from the picturesque Matagalpa region of Nicaragua, known for its favourable climate and fertile soils, which are ideal for growing high-quality cacao beans. These grains are characterised by a light brown shade and a rich flavour palette.

Tasting the chocolate with O’Tuma cacao, one can detect notes of red fruits, light acidity and subtle nutty tones.

There are also subtle notes of wood and leather in the background, which adds depth and complexity to the chocolate. A creamy texture and a long, satisfying aftertaste are other characteristics that set this cacao apart from others.

O’Tuma cacao from the Matagalpa region is sustainably grown with respect for nature and the local community. Many farmers in the region are switching to organic farming methods, which further enhances the quality of their grains.

All in all, O’Tuma cacao from Matagalpa is a real rarity for chocolate lovers, offering a unique taste experience while promoting responsible agriculture.
