Guatemala Baya Kampura Ceremonial Cocoa

Hacienda Kampura ceremonial cacao (full-fat cacao paste, cocoa paste) of the Trinitario variety comes from Guatemala. This unique cacao from certified BIO beans is characterized by a light acidity with notes of grapefruit, berries and tropical fruits, which intertwine with vegetal, floral and nutty flavors. The finish is characterized by moderate bitterness and mild astingeness, creating a harmonious flavor profile.

Hacienda Kampura is the only plantation in Guatemala with all SGU (Guatemala Selection) clones, a collection of native Guatemalan clones developed in the 1960s. The plantation sets new standards for sustainability: 700 hectares of degraded land have been turned into forests, and more than 625,000 trees have been planted on the farm.

The grains are subjected to low-temperature roasting (110°C for 50 minutes), which accentuates natural acid characteristics while retaining delicate flavors, creating a smooth, well-balanced flavor profile.

Hacienda Kampura's cacao was awarded Heirloom Cacao 2023, won bronze in Cacao of Excellence 2023, and was included in Cacao of Excellence - 50 Best 2025.
