Ecuador Perla Victoria Ceremonial Cocoa
Perla ceremonial cocoa from Hacienda Victoria (full-fat cocoa paste, cocoa mass) comes from plantations in Cerecita, near the coast of Ecuador. This unique variety, developed by the Hacienda Victoria team, is the result of crossing the Trinitario and Criollo varieties and is characterised by notes of biscuits, white fruit, honey, turrón and a floral finish.
Perla is an exquisite cocoa sold to select customers around the world. The plantation cares about its positive social impact, providing a stable income for over a hundred families and developing a sustainable working environment for employees and local fauna. With its carbon neutral certification, Hacienda Victoria sets new standards for sustainable premium cocoa production.
The beans are roasted at a low temperature (115°C for 45 minutes), which reveals their natural sensory characteristics and delicate nutty notes, creating a smooth, well-balanced flavour profile.
