Ceremonial cacao (full-fat cacao paste, cacao pulp) of the Mayan Red Trinitario variety made from Bio/Organic cacao beans, sourced from the Copan region of Honduras. This unique cocoa is characterized by an intense chocolate-burgundy flavor, with subtle notes of milk candy. This cocoa is slightly sweet with low acidity. The finish slightly vibrates with notes of caramel, candy and kajmak. This cacao was made from high-quality, selected premium cacao beans. The cacao comes from a small cooperative based in northern Honduras. The cooperative has 215 farmers, 75 of whom are women.
