Cacao butter in the form of vanilla-yellowish nuggets is 100% cacao fat full of natural flavour and aroma.
Africa Occidental Natural is characterised by its mild but deep white chocolate flavour, derived from the Forastero variety grown on plantations in West Africa.
Our cacao butter is distinguished by the intense aroma of fresh cacao, while notes of walnut and dark chocolate can be detected in its flavour.

Our cacao butter is 100% natural, unprocessed, non-fat, kosher, halal, sugar-free, additive-free, preservative-free, and handmade. This cacao butter is gluten-free and can also be consumed by vegans.
Cacao fat, also known as cacao butter, is one of the most stable and healthiest vegetable fats. It consists of 65% saturated fatty acids 32% monounsaturated fatty acids and only about 4% are unsaturated fatty acids.
Application
Cacao butter finds its way well into cooking as well as cosmetics or aromatherapy.
You can use it for:
- Baked goods instead of butter or margarine, e.g. brownies combined with ceremonial cocoa
- Dishes, for example, in Indian cuisine, although it is great for frying or stewing any dish.
