Guatemala Baya Kampura Ceremonial Cocoa

Ceremonial cocoa from Hacienda Kampura (full-fat cocoa paste, cocoa mass) of the Trinitario variety comes from Guatemala. This unique cocoa from certified organic beans is characterised by a slight acidity with notes of grapefruit, berries and tropical fruits, intertwined with a vegetal, floral and nutty flavour. The finish is moderately bitter and delicately astringent, creating a harmonious flavour profile.

Hacienda Kampura is the only plantation in Guatemala to have all SGU (Guatemala Selection) clones – a collection of native Guatemalan clones developed in the 1960s. The plantation sets new standards for sustainability: 700 hectares of degraded land have been converted into forests, and over 625,000 trees have been planted on the farm.

The beans are roasted at a low temperature (110°C for 50 minutes), which emphasises their natural acidic characteristics while preserving their delicate aromas, creating a smooth, well-balanced flavour profile.

Hacienda Kampura cocoa has been recognised as Heirloom Cacao 2023, won bronze in the Cacao of Excellence 2023 competition and was included in the Cacao of Excellence – 50 Best 2025 ranking.
