Tanzania Kamili Cacao Ceremonial

Ceremonial cocoa (full-fat cocoa paste, cocoa pulp) of the Trinitario variety, comes from Tanzania’s Kilombero Valley. This unique cocoa is characterised by an intense chocolate-milk flavour, with subtle hints of milk candy. This cocoa is lightly dry with slightly noticeable notes of milk candy.

This cacao was made from high-quality, selected premium cacao beans.

The history of Kamili’s cocoa dates back to 2013, when the collective Kokoa Kamili was formed in the small village of Mbingu in the Kilombero Valley south of Udzungwa National Park to produce FairTrade cocoa. The raw beans are fermented in wooden crates for six days and then dried in the sun.
