Raw, unshelled BIO cacao beans (Theobroma cacao) of the Trinitario variety from Guatemala are distinguished by a light acidity with notes of grapefruit, berries, tropical fruits and raisins, followed by vegetable, floral and nutty tones, with moderate bitterness and a mild astringency, finishing with a harmonious finish. Sourced from Hacienda Kampura in Izabal, designated Heirloom Cacao 2023, certified organic, winner of Cacao of Excellence 2023 (bronze) and 50 Best 2025, this unique trinitario is grown in an agroforestry system that restores forests and protects endangered tree species on the first such farm in Guatemala.

Raw cocoa beans should be roasted before consumption. The beans should not be consumed raw.
